Viva Voce is an Auckland based chamber choir. They are touring to perform ‘Path of Miracles’ and in Christchurch will be at the Great Hall in the Arts Centre on Sunday 12 September at 5pm.
Path of Miracles is an hour-long work that describes the centuries-old pilgrimage across northern Spain, the Camino de Santiago. Written by contemporary British composer Joby Talbot for 17 separate vocal parts in a fusion of mediaeval and modern styles, Path of Miracles has been lauded by critics and hailed as perhaps the finest choral work of the 21st century to date.
